Where Managers Become Leaders

The Rising Leaders Program, 9-month virtual learning experience, will enhance the leadership skills and behaviors of your great managers or those with demonstrated potential. Typically, a Rising Leader has responsibility for a team and direct reports; however, those who do not meet this criteria will be considered on a case-by case-basis.

The program’s content is designed to develop rising leaders in the areas of personal
leadership, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, diversity of thinking, influential communication, championing change, maximizing team development, fostering effective talent development, and contributing to an engaging, inclusive workplace culture.
Participants will take a series of assessments to identify leadership style plus strengths and
development needs, as well as participate in a 360-feedback experience.
These tools will be used to craft an individualized development plan. Participants will be
supported by their manager, faculty advisor, and optional mentors who they may choose.
At the end of the program, participants will have:

  • gained insights into their own leadership style, working with other styles, and the critical
  • role of expanding their emotional intelligence as a leader;
  • enhanced their proficiency in all communication skills with an emphasis on message
  • delivery, active listening, and influencing;
  • acquired skills in creating, sustaining, and developing the talent on high performing
  • teams while dealing effectively with conflict and problem resolution;
  • learned how to address the challenge of change and lead others with confidence to
  • achieve productive outcomes;
  • explored leadership strategies that cultivate a workplace culture that is engaging,
  • innovative, and inclusive;
  • developed strategies for ongoing leadership development for themselves and others

Limited Availability

Rising Leaders
  • Small class size (15 maximum) designed to foster engagement and accelerated learning
  • Accomplished faculty who understand the financial services industry and have a proven record developing leadership talent.
  • One-on-one faculty advisement and assessments that will foster personal growth (assessments include: DISC Work of Leaders, Emotional Intelligence Assessment, Leadership Skill Appraisal, Active Listening Assessment, and DEI Awareness Inventory)
  • Engaging Learning sessions via Zoom on current leadership thought to encourage critical thinking and applicability to the workplace.
  • Having a Mentor, who is not your manager, to support you  
  • Exposure to successful senior leaders in the field along with an opportunity to expand your network of  colleagues from other financial institutions

Typically, participants will have a minimum of three years of management experience and lead a team of reports, however, those who do not meet this criterion will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Total Investment for Rising Leaders Program : $4,995 per participant 

 

COMING ON SEPTEMBER!

 

This program is a 9-month digital learning program.

Participants will be required to independently complete virtual assignments as well as attend remote learning sessions on ZOOM over the course of the program. Additionally, all participants will be required to complete a “Call to Leadership” project. This project will focus on participants practically applying the skills/behaviors learned in the program not only to address a strategic challenge facing most financial services organizations but also grow in their personal leadership development.

The program will be led by a faculty of professionals who have demonstrated success in the financial services field and are leading-edge experts in facilitating and cultivating leadership development. Additionally, senior financial industry leaders as well as selected leadership development professionals will serve as guest presenters to enhance the learning experience.

All participants will have a faculty advisor who will be available for one-on-one coaching.

The program’s content is designed to develop rising leaders in the areas of personal

leadership, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, diversity of thinking, influential communication,

championing change, maximizing team development, fostering effective talent development,

and contributing to an engaging, inclusive workplace culture.

Engaging Learning and Support Approaches that will Maximize Your Leadership Growth

  • Learning Sessions – Nine 3-hour ZOOM learning sessions, taught by industry experts, will aid participants in gaining the most relevant knowledge on a specific leadership topic. Sessions will be engaging, interactive and practical in nature.
  • Online Learning Assignments – Current articles, podcasts, and videos will be shared on a common platform for participants to review and discuss
  • Leadership Power Hour & Forums – One-hour sessions discussing a current leadership topic and forums with banking executives.
  • Managers and Mentors – Each participant will gain support from their manager. Participants are encouraged to select a mentor can help with leadership development in this program and beyond.
  • Faculty Advisement/Coaching – Each participant will be assigned to a faculty member for advisement and coaching.
  • Call to Leadership Project – All participants will be required to complete a project that will focus on participants practically applying the skills/behaviors learned in the program to not only to address a strategic challenge facing most financial services organizations but also grow in their personal leadership development.

To maximize the learning experience, there will be limited availability.  Applications will be reviewed on a first-come/first-served basis.  Participants will be notified of acceptance decisions within 5 business days of receipt of a completed application.

Program Tuition:  $4995.

The tuition includes all online learning sessions/assignments, Leadership Power Hour sessions, interaction with participant mentor, faculty advisement and coaching, leadership assessments, and participant materials.  

Tuition to the program is payable upon acceptance and is non-refundable.
